The iconic Promenade des Anglais is a real jewel in Nice, known across the world. The people of Nice and holidaymakers use it for a walk, exercise or a simple moment of escape, looking out to sea.
In 1824, the Reverend L. Way had a path laid out to access the coast: the Promenade was born.
However, it was not until 1930 that it was officially lit, widened and inaugurated by the brother of the King of England himself.
