L’Oiseau Vert
Theatre
From 12 to 14 March 2025
Human beings are capable of the worst. In 1765, the Venetian Carlo Gozzi drew from this irrefutable observation a magical, funny and brutal fable: The Green Bird.
After presenting La Dispute de Marivaux, Agnès Régolo returns to TNN with her new creation.
Renzo and Barbarina are twins. Thrown at birth into a canal by their perfidious grandmother - Tartagliona, the queen mother - they were taken in and raised by a couple of butchers. At the dawn of their 18th birthday, eager to know their true identity, they leave the deception of their adoptive parents and set off on an adventure, helped by a strange green bird.
