L’Hireath – Une esthétique de l’effacement
Musical play
08 February 2025
A concert-show that invites the unknown, like an old-fashioned journey, with no GPS and no certain destination, to reinvent together.
Part of the "Festival Trajectoires".
With music composed by Loïc Guénin and text written and sung by Arthur H, we follow the story of an improbable journey, inspired by the incredible voyage of the shipwrecked ship's boy Narcisse Pelletier, who spent seventeen years living with an aboriginal tribe. This journey into the unknown takes us through strange and beautiful spaces. Hiraeth is a strange feeling, a nostalgia of the heart for a land we have never known and will never know. Either the place never existed, or it remains only in memory. The underlying question is: how can we put poetry, art and love back at the center of our preoccupations?
