H2eau ! A la source de la vie

Exhibition

From 18 September 2024 to 26 February 2025

From the water cycle to the beauty and fragility of the oceans, from the impact of human activities to the strangeness of plankton, come understand, play and create your own patch of sea.

What amazement in front of this abundant and fragile life that occupies 70% of the planet. The protection of the ocean is everyone's business, so that our children can continue to admire, marvel, feed and breathe.

To discover during this exhibition:
A photo immersion in the heart of the oceans presented by 8 major French research structures. Discover the social structures of cetaceans, the sounds of the ocean, genetic diversity...
A photo dive during the vertical migration of nocturnal, planktonic, Mediterranean organisms off the coast of Nice. The journey of a drop of water with a model: from the natural cycle of water passing from the clouds to the sea (evaporation, condensation, precipitation, runoff, infiltration, etc.) to the domestic cycle: capture, treatment, storage, distribution, house, treatment plant, etc.
All the light is shed on the karst water cycle (in limestone terrain), the domestic water cycle (water capture, water at home, etc.), water and limestone (karst, formation of caves, etc.), water of underground origin: a seasonal cycle (winter: recharge of the water tables, summer: drought).
