At a time of great planetary upheaval, when war is raging all over the world, sounding the death knell for the collapse of civilizations, when the Earth itself is urging us with its convulsions to react to our own destructive madness, Les Tambours du Bronx, Pierre Thilloy, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice, the Nice Philharmonic Choir and the Opéra de Nice join forces to offer you a telluric, “apocalyptic” work in which the power of rhythm and melody combine around the great texts of humanity, from the Epic of Gilgamesh to the Lamentations of Ipou-Our, via the Book of the Dead or the Book of Kings, the Illiad, the Dies Irae and the Bible.

Requiem pour l'humanité takes us on an epic, poetic fresco of sound that plunges us into the exhilaration of life, invoking our consciences and senses in an attempt to answer the great philosophical question of how to explain the world, forcing us to dream with our eyes open, as if in an original dream that reminds us that we are on earth “only passing through”.
