After welcoming 32 rue Vandenbranden in 2012 and Kind [Enfant] in 2021, the TNN is happy to support Peeping Tom in this new project, Chroniques, driven by the invitation of the ExtraPôle SUD collective.
Founded by Gabriela Carrizo and Franck Chartier, Peeping Tom is a Belgian dance theater company, renowned for the hyper-realistic aesthetic of its productions, which combine extreme choreographic language, virtuoso technique and intense dramatic acting within fantastic universes.
At the heart of Chronicles, orchestrated by Gabriela Carrizo, is a fascination with perception, the relativity of time, the understanding of life, death and the human experience. The story unfolds like a sensory journey, where the past and the present intertwine, propelling the characters on journeys of transformation and other metamorphoses, like a series of chronicles. Blurring the boundaries between reality, mythology, ancient legends and the beliefs of ancient people, the Wunderkammer, or Cabinet of Curiosities, will serve as a detonator to encourage us to reconsider our own history.
