Coming to Nice Côte d’Azur

Located in the south of Europe and in the extreme south-east of France, Nice occupies a remarkable natural site in the heart of the French Riviera, easily accessible by plane, train, bus, car or boat!
Nice has never been so close to you

By plane

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is the second largest airport in France after Paris with 14.5 million passengers per year (2019 figures), more than 120 direct destinations without charter operated by 60 companies to 44 countries. The airport offers 6 regular long-haul routes to Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Montreal, New York and Beijing.

Its unique location ensures that passengers can make a spectacular landing along the Côte d’Azur coastline with a breathtaking view of the seaside, the snow-capped mountains in winter, and the cities lit up at night.

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is only 15 minutes from the centre of Nice and now has a direct tramway link to the city centre. Regular bus and train links provide easy access to the other communes of the Nice Côte d’Azur.

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is also the 3rd largest business aviation airport in the world.

By train

Nice also has an important rail connection. Fast and express trains connect the Côte d’Azur to all French regions and to all major European cities. The TGV Méditerranée makes it possible to travel from Paris to Nice in 5.5 hours.

By boat

Located in the heart of the city, the port of Nice is made up of a 10-hectare stretch of water, 7 hectares of open spaces and around ten quays, including six commercial quays. It is 7 km from Nice-Côte d’Azur international airport and a few minutes’ walk from the city’s main tourist attractions (Vieux-Nice, Place Masséna, shopping areas).

By road

The Nice Côte d’Azur metropolitan area is linked to the major European cities by an extensive motorway network. The city is served by the A8 “La Provençale” motorway, coming from Aix-en-Provence to the west and the Italian border to the east. As an indication, it takes about 9 hours to travel from Paris to Nice by motorway.
